Job description

Are you a highly motivated person who is passionate about facilitating a neighbourly approach to improving nature, increasing biodiversity and developing the potential for urban food growing?Do you have a strong commitment to working with diverse communities so that they can share their skills and know-how and take their sustainable ideas forward?  If you are, our position of Community Garden Developer offers you an opportunity to progress your career by joining a highly regarded Urban Growing programme in Islington.Your combined experience of and dedication to community development and love for the natural environment will ensure that our work remains award winning.You will be happy to work with colleagues along with a group of dedicated volunteers, outdoors, within an inclusive urban context, all-year-round, and in all weathers.

The position of Community Garden Developer also provides you with an opportunity to develop and implement plans to maintain our Community Plant Nursery as a key learning hub and demonstrator site, where a seasonal programme includes action learning workshops and experiential learning opportunities, responding to the needs of diverse communities, gardeners and volunteers with varying levels of knowledge.
